Al-Nasr football club forward Cristiano Ronaldo has announced that he does not want to participate in all matches. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This was reported by euro-football.ru. According to the 365Scores Arabic source, the 41-year-old player asked the team’s head coach Jorge Jesus to play him as little as possible in the early stages of the Asian Champions League.

Ronaldo explained this decision by his desire to avoid excessive physical load and to better prepare for decisive matches. He also aims to reach the World Cup in optimal athletic form.

In the current season, Cristiano Ronaldo has participated in 23 matches for Al-Nasr, managing to score 19 goals against opponents. The experienced Portuguese player ranks second in the list of top scorers in the Saudi Arabian championship.

He is in direct competition with Ayven Toni.
