A Friendly Match is Planned Between Russia and Mali

Former Russian football star Aleksandr Mostovoy shared his thoughts about the friendly match expected to be held in March between the national teams of Russia and Mali. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was reported by euro-football.ru. So far, the Russian Football Union has not issued an official statement regarding this game.
Nevertheless, representatives of the Mali Football Federation have confirmed that an agreement on the match exists. The match is scheduled to take place on March 27 in the city of Krasnodar.
According to Aleksandr Mostovoy, the level of opponents for the Russian national team is significantly increasing. He recalled that previously there were games against teams like Nigeria, Peru, and Chile, and now strong teams like Mali are on the list.
Mostovoy also added that the main conclusions should only be drawn once the squad is fully formed. He stated: “Now we are playing not with shopping malls, but with stronger teams.”
According to information, the Russian national team held its last gathering in November of last year. At that time, the team drew 1:1 with Peru and lost 0:2 to Chile.
Currently, Russia is unable to participate in official competitions due to international sanctions.
