However, the player himself aims to join a team that competes seriously for trophies and to test himself in a new environment. In the 2025/26 season, Alvares played 35 matches for Atletico, scoring 13 goals and providing 6 assists.

Currently, his contract with Atletico is valid until June 30, 2030. According to Transfermarkt data, the player's market value is estimated at 100 million euros.
