A friendly match is expected between Russia and Mali

Former Russian football star Aleksandr Mostovoy shared his opinion in March about a possible friendly match between the national teams of Russia and Mali. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to euro-football.ru, the Russian Football Union has not yet officially confirmed the match with Mali.
However, representatives of the Mali Football Federation have announced that an agreement exists. According to sources, the match is planned to be held on March 27 in the city of Krasnodar.
Aleksandr Mostovoy positively assessed the increasing level of the opponents, emphasizing the following: “This is a good situation; the opponents are getting stronger. We are playing against Nigeria, Peru, Chile, and now Mali.
However, it is still too early to draw conclusions. First of all, we need to see which main players will come.
The important thing is that now we are no longer playing against teams from shopping centers,” he said in an interview with Sport-Express. It should be recalled that the Russian national team last held a training camp in November.
At that time, the team, led by Valery Karpin, drew 1:1 with Peru and lost 0:2 to Chile. It is also important to note that due to international sanctions, the Russian national team is currently not participating in official international competitions.
