Safonov wishes Russian skiers good luck

Matvey Safonov, goalkeeper of the “PSG” football club, wishes good luck to Russian athletes Darya Nepryayeva and Saveliy Korostelyov ahead of the 50-kilometer ski marathon held as part of the Olympic Games. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was reported by the “Euro-football.ru” website. Safonov wished the athletes success in their performances and said he would be following their actions.
He also emphasized that he is deprived of the opportunity to participate as a representative of Russia in international competitions and did not hide that he somewhat envies Darya and Saveliy. According to the goalkeeper, the most important task for athletes is to be satisfied with their performances.
He particularly stressed that their achievements are not only personally significant but also very important for the entire team. It should be recalled that Saveliy Korostelyov previously took fourth place in the skiathlon competition, falling just short of an Olympic medal.
Darya Nepryayeva, on the other hand, has not yet been able to enter the top ten. Therefore, this marathon holds great significance for them, and fans are expecting good results from them.
