Zidane may coach the French national team
New reports are circulating about Zinedine Zidane. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

It has become known that he may take the position of head coach of the French national team after the World Cup. This information was provided by the well-known journalist Fabrizio Romano.

According to him, there is a verbal agreement between Zidane and the French Football Federation. While commenting on this matter, Romano reminded that rumors about Zidane constantly revolve around "Real" or other major clubs.

In particular, in December there were reports that he might return to the Madrid club. However, according to the journalist, other candidates are also being considered regarding possible changes at "Real".

For example, the candidacy of Arbeloa, who is active within the club system, is also being discussed. The main focus regarding Zidane is on the possibility of him managing the French national team.

Romano emphasized that there is a verbal agreement in this regard. For now, all attention is focused on the current head coach Didier Deschamps' preparation process for the World Cup.

Deschamps is regarded as a respected figure by both the national team and the football federation. Therefore, raising a fuss about the coaching position before the World Cup is not appropriate.

However, according to Romano, after the championship ends, Zidane is highly likely to return to coaching and lead the national team. Nevertheless, this remains only at the level of verbal talks for now.

Situations related to coaches in football can change rapidly. It is worth recalling that Zidane left his position as head coach of "Real" in June 2021.

Since then, he has not officially started working as a coach. For this reason, any news about his return to activity generates great interest in the football world.
