Fonseca: I deserved to work more at Milan

Fonseca evaluated the club as a strong and wonderful team and said he greatly enjoyed working there. However, he also added that he regretted the lack of time.
According to him, the club management wanted to shift the team's playing style to a more attacking form, but it is not easy to change a system that has been established over years in a short period. It is worth recalling that Paulo Fonseca worked as head coach at "Milan" from July to December 2024.
Currently, he is serving as head coach at the French club "Lyon". At the moment, the "Milan" team, under the leadership of Massimiliano Allegri, is in second place in the Serie A standings with 54 points.
