Jose Mourinho, head coach of the "Benfica" team, faced sharp criticism after the Champions League match against "Real Madrid". This was reported by Zamin.uz.

He opposed accusations of racism against his team, emphasizing that "Benfica" is not a racist team. Additionally, Mourinho criticized "Real Madrid" player Vinicius Junior for provocatively celebrating after scoring a goal.

This was reported by euro-football.ru. During the match, Vinicius Junior accused "Benfica" player Gianluca Prestiani of racism.

UEFA has announced an official investigation into this incident. Among those who criticized Mourinho is "Bayern" head coach Vincent Kompany.

However, Mourinho refused to comment in detail on the situation and said: "I have no intention to explain this incident. I repeat, it was difficult for everyone.

I will not talk in detail about the level of difficulty, but it was not easy for anyone." It is reported that the return match between "Real Madrid" and "Benfica" will take place on February 25.
