Nodirbek Abdusattorov: A New Stage After Failure

Nodirbek Abdusattorov, one of Uzbekistan's strongest chess players, recently spoke about how he regained his confidence after autumn failures. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to him, success in chess depends not only on complex combinations and openings but also on internal state, environment, and the support of people around. In Nodirbek's opinion, a chess player does not achieve success alone.
He emphasized the significant role of the people around him, especially coaches. Recently, he changed his coaching team.
Previously collaborating with Rustam Qosimjonov, Nodirbek started working with new coaches after the Grand Swiss tournament in Samarkand. The reason is that Qosimjonov decided to continue his work as the head coach of the national team.
Working with new coaches brought a fresh approach for Nodirbek. Currently, he is cooperating not with one but two coaches, although he has not disclosed their names.
According to Nodirbek, the games at the World Cup were more difficult than expected, but this process gave him an important lesson: he realized the need to change his attitude towards himself. After that, Nodirbek decided to reduce psychological pressure.
He started playing chess not only for results but also for enjoyment. This decision restored his inner freedom.
Nodirbek now feels that he has returned to his aggressive and confident style. The most pleasing thing for fans is the story of recovery after failure.
Brighter performances from Nodirbek can be expected in the upcoming major tournaments. Source: zamin.uz
