Local journalist Halik Yurekli emphasized that Galatasaray's championship chances remain in question. Nevertheless, the club is currently leading the league with 55 points.

However, the close contender Fenerbahce has 52 points and one game in reserve. This indicates that the battle will be tough for Galatasaray until the end of the season.
