Uzbekistan boxers continue with victories and defeats in Sofia

The 77th “Strandja” international boxing tournament is ongoing in Sofia, Bulgaria. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Representatives of Uzbekistan are also actively participating in this competition. The initial fights of today have concluded.
In the first session of the tournament, some of our boxers achieved success, while others were defeated by strong opponents. In the -51 kg weight category, Gulsevar Ganiyeva stepped into the ring against German boxer Maxi Klotzer.
During the fight, Gulsevar delivered a series of good punches, but the opponent's precision and experience prevailed. As a result, Gulsevar lost the opportunity with a score of 0:5.
In the same weight category, Feruza Kazakova fought against American Jennifer Lozano. The clash was intense, but Feruza outperformed her opponent with the accuracy of her punches and composure in controlling the situation.
She won with a score of 4:1. In the -70 kg weight category, Oysha Toirova competed against Australian Lekeysha Pergoliti.
Despite the opponent being a silver medalist at the World Championship in Liverpool, Oysha put up a worthy resistance. However, the difference in experience and skill showed, and Toirova was defeated 0:5.
In the -54 kg weight category, Uzukjamol Yunusova fought against Aysen Taskin from Turkey. Uzukjamol tried to utilize her opportunities, but the opponent's pace and dominance were superior.
The result was 0:5. In the -55 kg weight category, Abdulaziz Abdunazarov fought against Kazakhstan's Baglan Kenjibek.
He utilized his chances and delivered good punches but lost on points, being defeated 0:5. In the same weight category, Samandar Olimov stepped into the ring against German Ali El Sari.
Samandar landed precise punches during the fight, leaving almost no chance to his opponent. He achieved a confident victory with a score of 5:0.
The second session of today's program is also ongoing. Several of our boxers are expected to enter the ring there as well.
