Toshich wants to replay the Russia and Serbia match

Former footballer Zoran Tosic, who played for the CSKA club in Moscow, supported the idea of holding another friendly match between the national teams of Russia and Serbia. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

He emphasized that this match could be held either in Russia or in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. In his opinion, the previous game left a good impression and such an experience should be repeated.

At the same time, the Serbian national team had an unsuccessful participation in the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup to be held in North America. This was a difficult test for the team.

It should be recalled that in 2024, the Russian national team played against Serbia at the "VTB Arena" stadium in Moscow and achieved a big victory with a score of 4:0. In that game, Russian players demonstrated superiority in all aspects.

According to Tosic, friendly matches are a good opportunity to increase the experience of players from both countries and to strengthen friendly relations. Therefore, organizing such matches again would be appropriate.
