Uzbekistani boxers won 5 victories in Sofia

The traditional 77th “Strandja” international boxing tournament is ongoing in Sofia, Bulgaria. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Yesterday, within the framework of the tournament’s second program, Uzbek boxers entered the ring and all participated successfully, advancing to the next stage. A total of five fights were held, all ending in victory.
In the -85 kg weight category, world champion Akmaljon Isroilov faced Irishman Nathan Ojo in the ring. Despite the opponent’s attempts to resist during the fight, Isroilov’s experience and superiority were clearly evident.
He secured a confident victory with a score of 5:0. In the -65 kg weight category, Abdulloh Madaminov competed against Kazakhstani Abdigalim Abdikarim.
In an interesting and intense fight, Madaminov outperformed his opponent with precise punches and activity, winning 5:0. Another boxer in the -85 kg weight category, Norbek Abdullayev, fought against Romanian Matei Nastasius.
In a fierce battle, Abdullayev’s composure and accurate punches earned him a 5:0 victory. In the -90 kg weight category, Torabek Khabibullaev faced Englishman Teagn Stott.
Khabibullaev ended the fight with a technical knockout in the second round, marking one of the most impressive results of the tournament. At the end of the day, in the -90 kg weight category, Samir Sobirov entered the ring against German Vitaliy Walter.
In a tough and challenging fight, Sobirov showed character and achieved a determined victory with a score of 5:0. Thus, Uzbek boxers participated in five fights in the tournament’s second program and won all of them.
These results not only improved statistical indicators but also positively affected the team’s morale. Fans are expecting such successful performances in the upcoming stages as well.
