Ignatyev: Safonov rightfully earned the main goalkeeper position

At the same time, he emphasized the necessity of consistently performing at a high level in a top club. He noted that if Safonov experiences failures in several matches, he might lose his opportunity to Shevalyev in the competition.

This season, Matvey Safonov has played 10 matches for "PSG," conceding 10 goals. The Russian goalkeeper has been playing for this famous French club since the summer of 2024.
