Luis Enrique: PSG plays offensively to win

PSG head coach Luis Enrique shared his thoughts ahead of the Champions League playoff second leg against Monaco. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Despite the 3-2 victory in the first match, the Spanish specialist emphasized that his team has not settled anything yet. According to him, the Paris club should not take the field to defend in this match but rather play again to win.
In Luis Enrique's opinion, the tie still holds suspense because Monaco starts the game trailing by only one goal.
Therefore, the PSG team must not relax even for a second; otherwise, the situation can quickly change. In his interview, the coach focused on the necessity for the team to remain faithful to their offensive style of play.
He said that switching to defense just to preserve the score would be a wrong decision. Enrique stressed that his team must apply pressure on the field, actively press, and keep moving even without the ball.
"We come onto the field not to defend the result but to win," said the coach. It is worth recalling that in the first match, PSG made a comeback from 0-2 down away and won 3-2.
This result gives the Parisians a certain advantage in the return leg, but Luis Enrique says there is no room for complacency in such a situation. In conclusion, PSG will play cautiously in today's match, but this is not fear, rather a professional approach.
"Monaco still has a chance, PSG has experience and the ability to manage pressure. Therefore, another tense and important football evening is expected in Paris."
