The reason for the break in the 9th round of the Argentina championship has been announced

An unexpected break has been announced in the Argentina football championship. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The matches of the 9th round will not be held on the scheduled dates. Interestingly, the games of the 7th and 8th rounds will continue as usual, with the break occurring specifically in the part related to the 9th round.
According to the initial plan, the matches of this round were supposed to take place from March 5 to 8. This was reported by euro-football.ru.
The reason for the break is indicated as the necessity for Claudio Tapia, president of the Argentina Football Association (AFA), to answer before the tribunal on March 5. The controversies arose from issues related to pension payments for former players and federation staff members.
It is suspected that tax payments amounting to 19 billion pesos, approximately 12 million euros, were evaded in this matter. Additionally, there are suspicions that the federation's internal structures may be involved in money laundering activities.
This situation has brought football-related problems once again outside the field. It shows once more that football in South America is not only a sport but also connected with many economic and social issues.
