Vinisius Junior became the sixth top scorer in Real's history

Real Madrid forward Vinisius Junior was one of the main heroes for his team in the UEFA Champions League playoff match against Benfica. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This was reported by euro-football.ru. The Brazilian player scored the only goal for his team in the first match, securing the victory.

In the return leg, he once again found the opponent's net, contributing to Real's 2-1 success. Thus, the 25-year-old forward's total goals for Real in the Champions League reached 32.

This result allowed him to take sixth place among the players with the most goals for the club in the tournament's history. Only five players have scored more goals than Vinisius for Real in the Cup or Champions League: Cristiano Ronaldo (105 goals), Karim Benzema (78 goals), Raul (66 goals), Alfredo di Stefano (49 goals), and Ferenc Puskás (35 goals).

Vinisius Junior has been representing Real since the summer of 2018. The forward's current contract is valid until the end of next season.
