Dasaev evaluated Matvey Safonov's games at 'PSJ'

Legendary goalkeeper Rinat Dasaev shared his thoughts on Russian goalkeeper Matvey Safonov's performances at the French club "PSJ". This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Safonov has played in seven consecutive matches as part of the team's main lineup. This information was reported by the euro-football.ru website.

According to Dasaev, if the "PSJ" coaches trust Safonov, it means his performances meet the requirements. However, he noted that he has not closely followed the player's games and therefore finds it difficult to provide an analysis of specific episodes.

This was reported by the "Chempionat" publication. It is worth recalling that Matvey Safonov transferred to the Paris team from Russia's "Krasnodar" club in the summer of 2024 for 20 million euros.

In the 2025/2026 season, he participated in 11 matches, conceding 12 goals. Additionally, he managed to keep a clean sheet in four games.
