Manuel Neuer, the goalkeeper of Munich's Bayern football club, may leave the team at the end of the current season. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

It is known that the team captain, who will turn 40 in March, has not yet made a final decision on whether to continue or end his career. This was reported by euro-football.ru.

According to the "Bayern & Germany" source, if Neuer leaves the team in the summer, Jonas Urbig is considered the main candidate to take his place. The club plans not to look for competitors for Urbig.

It is also mentioned that Bayern may offer the new goalkeeper only as a backup player. Manuel Neuer has been playing for Bayern since 2011.

This season, he has played in 28 matches and conceded 27 goals. The 22-year-old Jonas Urbig has participated in 9 matches this season and conceded 8 goals.

The Bayern management is paying great attention to Urbig in order to maintain stability on the goal line in the near future.
