Manuel Noyer may leave Bayern
Manuel Neuer, the goalkeeper of Munich's Bayern club, may leave the team at the end of the current season. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The team captain will turn 40 in March and has not yet made a final decision on whether to continue or end his career. This was reported by the *euro-football.ru* publication.
According to the Bayern & Germany source, if the experienced goalkeeper leaves the club in the summer, his place is planned to be taken by 22-year-old Jonas Urbig. The club management has expressed confidence in Urbig as the main goalkeeper and aims not to look for a competitor for him.
At the same time, Bayern may only bring in a new player as a backup goalkeeper. Manuel Neuer has been playing for Bayern since 2011.
In the current season, he has appeared in 28 matches, conceding 27 goals. Jonas Urbig has participated in 9 matches this season, conceding 8 goals.
Thus, the Bayern management seems to trust the young goalkeeper Urbig even if the experienced Neuer leaves. This could be one of the important decisions regarding the team's future plans and squad renewal.
