Guardiola: The Champions League is a very difficult competition
"Manchester City" head coach Josep Guardiola shared his thoughts on the level of competition and the complexity of the Champions League. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was reported by euro-football.ru. In his statement, Guardiola described the Champions League as a very difficult competition.
"Every team has its own unique strengths. If you want to go far in this tournament, you have to defeat the strongest teams.
Otherwise, you do not deserve to succeed in this competition," he said at a press conference. "Manchester City" will face Madrid's "Real" again in the round of 16 this season.
Last season, it was "Real" that eliminated Guardiola's team from the competition at the playoff stage. However, this season the two teams met in the group stage, and this time "Manchester City" won 2-1.
According to the coach, winning in the Champions League requires not only good performance but also studying the opponents' strengths and choosing the right strategy against them. Therefore, this competition demands thorough preparation in every aspect.
