Manchester United defeated Crystal Palace, in third place

In the 28th round of the English Premier League, Manchester United secured an important victory by defeating Crystal Palace 2-1 at home. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This result allowed the Mancunians to rise to third place with 51 points. Although United conceded an early goal, they managed to turn the situation around in the second half.
After the match, the team's head coach Michael Carrick did not hide his satisfaction with the victory. He emphasized that the most pleasing aspect was how the team reacted after a slow start to the game.
Carrick also acknowledged Crystal Palace, noting that the opponent started the game very quickly and actively. United struggled a bit in the initial minutes but later got back into the game.
In the opening minutes, Palace opened the scoring with a goal by Maxence Lacroix. However, in the second half, the decisive moment of the match was connected to the same player.
He committed a foul against Mateus Cunha, resulting in a penalty and a red card, forcing him to leave the field. Carrick said that the penalty and the sending off were the turning points of the match.
Bruno Fernandes once again took the lead. He successfully converted the penalty in the 57th minute to equalize the score.
Then he assisted Benjamin Sesko's winning goal. Carrick praised Fernandes as a player who takes responsibility and does not back down in crucial moments.
Carrick also spoke warmly about Sesko. According to him, starting the Slovenian forward in the main lineup was no risk at all, as the player is in good form and has had a significant impact on the team's play in recent weeks.
With this goal, Sesko scored in his third consecutive match and has netted seven goals in the last eight games. Regarding the rise to third place in the standings, Carrick called it a pleasant situation but advised not to read too much into it for now.
In his opinion, the most important thing is that the team continues to grow and is able to respond appropriately even after conceding an early goal. This spirit and character are the main factors strengthening United's current progress.
In short, Carrick evaluated this victory not just as three points, but as further proof of the team's character and internal confidence. Manchester United is currently climbing the table, but the coach's view is simple: it is not a celebration yet, work still needs to be done.
