Winning the "Milan" derby, continuing in the race

In the 28th round of the Italian championship, the "Milan" team defeated "Inter" 1:0. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
After this victory, "Milan" head coach Massimiliano Allegri shared his thoughts about the game and the championship race. Although he was happy with the derby win, he emphasized that the work is not over yet.
During an interview with journalists, Allegri was asked an interesting question: "Milan" last won two derbies in the championship in 2011, do you remember how that season ended?" The coach gave a brief answer, reminding that "Milan" became champions that year. However, he also clearly explained the current situation — "Inter" has a 7-point lead and that is a big difference.
Allegri also spoke about the overall condition of the team. According to him, "Milan" has collected 60 points and is ahead of "Juventus" and "Como".
The team has worked for six months to reach the best form by March. Now the decisive part of the season is beginning — during this period, every point has the potential to change the championship race.
Allegri emphasized that the whole team feels good and it is important to continue gathering points. He said it is a pleasant situation that the management came to the game, but he called to refrain from hasty conclusions, saying "we have not achieved anything yet."
Discussing the details of the game, Allegri admitted that the team ran a lot in the first half, and in the second half gave the opponent some opportunities. But he stressed that there were no "truly dangerous" situations.
"Milan" defended in an organized manner and created several good chances. Allegri ultimately said that "Inter" is still the main favorite of the championship and despite losing the derby, the fight for the title is not over.
He emphasized that the toughest, longest, and most nerve-wracking part lies ahead. Source: One.uz.
