During this important conversation, the preparation process for next year's World Championship and the situation in the remaining 93 days before the tournament began were extensively discussed. The leaders' attention was focused most on the situation related to the Iran national team.
According to the FIFA head, the Iran national team has secured qualification for the competition, and US President Trump once again confirmed that this team has the right to participate in the tournament. This news holds great significance for the spirit of unity in football amidst a politically complex situation.
Infantino specifically emphasized how significant an event it is to bring people of the world closer and unite them through football. In his opinion, this competition will be a great foundation offering endless opportunities for athletes and fans.
