France Football Announces the Return of the Super Golden Ball in 2029

France Football magazine is discussing the restoration of the Super Golden Ball, one of the most prestigious and unique awards in the world of football. Zamin.uz reported on this matter.
The first news about this was announced by the sports portal The Touchline. According to the renowned publication, this great award is expected to be presented once again in 2029, four hundred years after it was first awarded.
This news is certain to spark great interest among football fans worldwide. According to the planned procedure, the new Super Golden Ball will be dedicated to the best footballer of a thirty-year period.
Nominees for the award will be selected from among stars who have won the Golden Ball multiple times, as in past examples. If we recall history, to date only one Super Golden Ball was awarded in 1989 to the great legend of Spain and Argentina, Alfredo Di Stéfano.
At that time, he emerged victorious over giants such as the famous Johan Cruyff and Michel Platini. An interesting fact is that until 2021, this historic award was kept in the club museum located at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid.
Later, it was put up for auction and sold for a total of 187 thousand British pounds. If this award is restored in 2029, the football community will have the opportunity to once again compare stars from different generations and eras in determining the greatest representative of a thirty-year period.
This process will certainly lead to serious debates and extensive discussions. Source: The Touchline
