Uzbekistan boxers have advanced to the final in Bangkok

The Futures Cup international youth boxing tournament taking place in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, has entered its decisive stage today. Zamin.uz reported on this.
With the conclusion of the semi-final bouts, the competition has reached its most intense phase. Ten talented athletes defending Uzbekistan's honor stepped into the ring, exerting all their strength and skill to secure a spot in the finals.
In the women's division, our team members achieved remarkable results. Rushanabonu Isoeva secured a victory via technical knockout in the third round against her Chinese opponent, Jiaen Wang.
Asaloy Baxtiyorova defeated Senegalese boxer Mairame Sown in the second round, ending the fight quickly. Samira Turgunova won by unanimous decision over an American boxer, demonstrating her tactical skills.
Nazokat Mardonova and Sevara Mamatova also emerged victorious in their bouts against representatives from China and Italy, respectively, advancing to the finals. Nilufarxon Abduhashimova was defeated in her match against a Samoan opponent.
Uzbek boxers also delivered strong performances in the men's division. Asadbek Sultonboev scored a technical knockout against his Turkmen opponent in the first round.
Sardorbek Bahromxo'jaev defeated a Georgian boxer by clear score. Suhrob Rahmatullaev completely controlled his New Zealand opponent, ending the fight early.
Abdug'ani Yorqinjonov secured a bronze medal and left the tournament with honor. According to the Uzbekistan Boxing Federation, the fact that so many of our athletes reached the finals confirms the effectiveness of the national youth program.
The coaching staff is satisfied with the technical discipline of the team members. The team continues to fight seriously for the championship title overall.
