Joan Laporta Won a Decisive Victory in the Barcelona Presidency Election

The important election for the leadership of the world-famous Barcelona football club, located in the Catalonia region of Spain, has concluded and the results have been announced. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The incumbent president Joan Laporta once again justified the people's trust and achieved a decisive victory. During the election process, he received 66.6 percent of the total votes, further strengthening his position within the team.
His main rival, businessman and club management candidate Victor Font, was left far behind with a much lower result. This was reported by the well-known TV3 channel in the Catalonia region.
According to the famous sports publication Mundo Deportivo, a separate survey was conducted among 400 club members. The results showed that the majority of club members still fully trust the current leader.
Looking at the exact numbers, a total of 235 participants exercised their voting rights and expressed support for Joan Laporta. This accounts for 58.75 percent of the total votes.
Another group of participants in the survey stated that they voted for the rival candidate Victor Font. He received a total of 114 votes, which is 28.5 percent of the overall result.
At the same time, some participants refused to clearly state their decision and chose neutrality. A total of 7.25 percent or 29 ballots were left blank.
Another 5.5 percent or 22 participants indicated that they preferred to remain outside the voting process without openly expressing their opinions. These preliminary and official results prove that Joan Laporta's influence in the club remains very high.
If the final calculations confirm this outcome, he will hold the position of Barcelona president for the third time during his career. It is reported that his new term is expected to last until 2031.
Club fans and patriots hope that the team will achieve great sports successes again in the coming period, further develop transfer policies, and strengthen game strategies. This decision, which will determine the direction of the Catalan giant's development in the coming years, will remain an important page in the club's history.
