Islam Ismoilov Congratulated the People on the Super Cup Winner
Fargona Neftchi team head coach Islom Ismoilov openly shared his thoughts after the important match against Pakhtakor club in the Uzbekistan Supercup competitions. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
First of all, he sincerely congratulates the people of Fargona, who have become the slogan of this historic victory, as well as the guest fans who came from Namangan and Andijan regions to support. According to the coach, this victory is not only the result of the hard work of the youth on the field but also the combined strength of the entire country.
During the game, fully open and attacking football was demonstrated, clearly showing the new tactical direction of the team. Islom Ismoilov noted that last season the team emphasized defensive football, but now he is working firmly to force the youth into an attacking style of play.
He also acknowledged the services of the previous coach Vitaliy Levchenko, emphasizing that resignation is a natural process in the coaching profession. By choosing two different players like Jokich and Ratinio in the central midfield position, the team took effective measures against the opponent's strong points.
According to the coach, Pakhtakor was not inferior in skill either, but in finals, character and strong spirit lead to defeat more than tactics. By applying the gegenpressing method from the first minutes, the opponent was prevented from advancing into their own half, which led to victory.
The game result was the best response to the negative opinions that appeared at the beginning of the season towards Uzbek coaches by some. Ismoilov stated that in the future he will continue to speak through hard work and results, and will keep striving forward based on his confidence.
