Viktor Font accepted the defeat with respect

This time, the task of managing the club has once again fallen upon Joan Laporta. After losing the election, Viktor Font addressed the fans and the team following the conclusion of the voting process.

He stated that he was not disheartened by the defeat but accepted the result with sincerity. According to Font, his party had focused significantly on adapting the club to modern requirements and bringing it closer to its fans.

However, he emphasized that once the voters made their decision, it must be accepted with respect. Following the election results, Viktor Font sincerely congratulated Joan Laporta and the new board members.

He expressed his confidence that he would continue to defend the project proposed by his team and that these ideas are beneficial for the club's future. According to Font, all their actions were carried out not only in the interest of the club but also for the entire Catalan community.

He announced that he is not afraid of defeat and will strive to develop the club in cooperation with the newly elected leadership. Font promised to remain actively involved in the life of the club and continue working towards creating his vision of Barcelona.

According to him, this defeat does not mean he will distance himself from the club; on the contrary, his desire to serve in this new phase has strengthened. According to the election results, Joan Laporta returned as club president for another term.

He previously held this position from 2003 to 2010 and then again from 2021 to the present. According to the new election results, Laporta will officially begin his duties on July 1 and is expected to lead the club until 2031.
