Rüdiger spoke about the incident in which he received a red card

Real Madrid defender Antonio Rüdiger openly expressed his opinion about the recent incidents in the matches. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In the twenty-sixth round of La Liga, an interesting and uncomfortable situation occurred during the match against Getafe. In the sixth minute of the game, Rüdiger put down his left knee and collided with opponent Arda Güler and Getafe defender Diego Rico.
In this situation, the field referee Alejandro Muniz did not immediately note a foul. However, later the Spanish referees committee conducted their analysis and confirmed that Rüdiger's action deserved a red card.
In his statement, the defender tried to explain the situation and emphasized that it was unintentional. Rüdiger reviewed the replay footage in slow motion after the game and admitted that it looked very terrible on the screen.
Although the images seemed rough, he said the situation was different during the game process. The footballer stated that he did not intend to deliberately strike the opponent or send him off the field.
If this action had been intentional, the opponent would not have been able to continue running so quickly. The club defender also reflected on his many years of experience and adherence to regulatory limits.
He added that after the game he spoke with Arda Güler and tried to resolve the issue. Rüdiger emphasized that a single frame does not fully reflect the entire event, so a red card should not have been given.
He said he likes tough play but never crosses his limits, and some statements may be far from the truth. These words demonstrate the player's professionalism and value of caution.
