Manchester City players will take to the field with their national teams during the international break

The head coach of Manchester City, Josep Guardiola, announced that the club's leading players will soon join their national teams during the international break. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Over the next two weeks, they will take the field under the flags of various countries and showcase their talents. A total of twenty players are expected to participate in official and friendly matches held during this period.
This break is very important for the club because after the victory in the Carabao Cup, the players had a short rest from domestic league matches. This time will help them restore their physical and mental strength and perform more actively for their national teams.
The club's results in March were mixed, and this process gave the players a chance to be tested. In the Premier League, the team lost important points and drew with Nottingham Forest and West Ham.
At the same time, in the UEFA Champions League, the team missed opportunities in both matches against Real Madrid and was eliminated from the competition. However, success in the English Cup became an important turning point in the club's history.
By winning away against Newcastle, the team advanced to the quarter-finals and will now play the decisive match against Liverpool at home. During the international break, players will participate in competitions of various levels.
Some will play in the FIFA match series, others in youth national team qualifiers, and others in friendly matches. This provides each player with additional experience and the opportunity to maintain their form.
Notably, Uzbekistan national team defender Abduqodir Husanov is also included in this list. He will have the opportunity to demonstrate his potential in matches against Gabon and Venezuela as part of the national team.
At the same time, some players were left out of this selection. Markus Bettinelli, Niko, Bernardo Silva, and Savino were not called up to the national teams.
Ruben Dias, Josko Gvardiol, and Mateo Kovacic will not be able to take the field due to being in the recovery process from injuries. In short, the international break for Manchester City serves not only as a rest but also as an important stage for gathering strength before big upcoming matches and for the individual growth of the players.
Fans will have the opportunity to follow their stars under the flags of various countries. Source: One.uz
