Eldor Shomurodov returned to the national team camp, preparations have begun

The striker of Turkey's "Istanbul Bashakshehir" club and captain of the Uzbekistan national team, Eldor Shomurodov, has returned to our country and joined the national team camp. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Currently, the national team is preparing for important international matches. According to the footballer, team members are gradually arriving at the camp, and the squad is now fully formed.
He said, "We joined the camp yesterday, and today all the players have arrived. There are two important friendly matches ahead.
The team is fully prepared." Shomurodov also touched on the absence of Abbosbek Fayzullayev from the camp.
In his opinion, although Fayzullayev's absence is a noticeable loss, the player will return to the squad soon after a minor injury. The striker also noted that he has not been able to score in recent club matches.
He emphasized that such situations occur in every footballer's career, and the most important thing is the team's result. Speaking about the friendly matches against Gabon and Venezuela, the captain said this camp is the last opportunity before the World Cup.
These matches give the team a chance to test their strength and try out new players. Additionally, Shomurodov emphasized that the FIFA Series international tournament is more interesting compared to regular friendly matches.
According to him, even small competitions bring a different spirit to the games, which is beneficial not only for the players but also for the fans. This camp is a major test for the national team and will help determine the team's current condition before upcoming major tournaments.
