Ancelotti focused on the team's performance rather than the result of the match against France

Carlo Ancelotti, head coach of the Brazil national football team, addressed the press after the friendly match against France and shared his thoughts on the game. Zamin.uz reported this.
Although the match ended with a two-goal victory for France, the coach focused primarily not on the result but on the players' performance on the field. As Ancelotti emphasized, a defeat can never be a source of joy, but such matches clearly reveal the team's strengths and weaknesses.
The Brazilians fought until the final minute and had several opportunities to score. At the same time, the experienced coach openly acknowledged certain shortcomings that occurred during the match.
According to him, the team sometimes made mistakes in properly controlling the game in their own half and effectively responding to the opponent's quick counterattacks. It was precisely at such moments that the French national team managed to score goals.
Furthermore, the coach specifically noted as a positive aspect that the players played with great passion on the field and utilized set-piece situations. Even though the result was not as expected, Ancelotti highly praised the team for not giving up in the fight.
The coach emphasized that the Brazilian team has the ability to compete on equal terms with the strongest opponents in the world. In his opinion, the players strived for victory until the last minute, and this spirit will be of great importance in the future.
Ancelotti hopes that if the team takes to the field with such strength and confidence in the upcoming 2026 World Cup, they will certainly achieve high results. He has no doubt that the players' mutual trust and hard work will lead to success.
