Shomurodov spoke about the victory over Gabon and the team's condition

After this victory, a correspondent from Tribuna.uz met with the national team captain Eldor Shomurodov and shared his full thoughts about the game events and the state of the team. According to the captain, it is still early to say that they had an ideal start in the first half, as the opponent created more chances than them and gained some advantage on the field during the first half.
However, in the second half, the situation changed drastically and all the advantage shifted to their side. Thanks to some luck as well, most importantly, the victory came under their control.
When asked about how the teammates who came on from the bench influenced the game, he said that coach Fabio Cannavaro would explain this matter better. According to him, the players on the bench heard a number of suggestions and demands from the coach in the locker room, and sometimes the words were a bit harsh.
