This match served as a serious test for our young players and provided an opportunity to assess their performance level. The game started very quickly for the Russians, who opened the scoring in the first minute and demonstrated their dominance.
This goal was an unexpected and heavy blow for our youth team. Following this, coach Haydarov's students gradually got into the game and tried to take control of the initiative.
In the final minutes of the first half, our team launched an effective attack. Dinamo club player Firdavs Abdurahmonov equalized with a beautiful shot, giving hope to the fans, and the score became 1:1.
The second half saw the game become even more intense, with both teams intensifying their fight for victory. However, in the sixth minute, the Russians took the lead again, and this goal decided the fate of the match.
During the remaining time, the Uzbek youth players made several attempts to equalize, but they were unsuccessful. As a result, the Russia U-23 team won with a score of 2:1.
During the match, the coaching staff made several substitutions to test new players. This was an important step aimed at further strengthening the team lineup and finding the optimal combination.
