Real Madrid is not rushing to make a serious offer for Rodri
Real Madrid, currently considered one of the strongest clubs in world football, has decided not to make a serious move for Manchester City defender Rodri during the upcoming summer transfer window. Zamin.uz reported this news.

According to the Spanish sports publication AS, the Madrid-based club highly values the player and greatly appreciates his playing style. However, the club's management does not currently consider it appropriate to submit an official offer to the rival club.

The main reason for this decision is directly related to the player's current condition. Rodri suffered a serious injury at the beginning of last year and, although he has fully recovered by now, he is still in the process of regaining match fitness.

As a key player for the Spanish national team, Rodri is considered a very important figure for his club. Therefore, Real Madrid decided to monitor the situation rather than force a purchase.

This season, the midfielder made a total of twenty-eight appearances across all competitions for Manchester City and managed to score two goals. The player's current contract with his club is valid until the summer of 2027.

The Transfermarkt portal values him at six hundred and fifty million euros. Furthermore, Manchester City's management is also conducting negotiations to extend Rodri's contract.

If the club manages to reach a new agreement with the player, the likelihood of his transfer will decrease even further. In such a scenario, Real Madrid's strategy of waiting could prove justified.

The club management plans to avoid haste and wait for the most opportune time. This approach is expected to play a significant role in their future transfer policy.
