The head coach of the Venezuela national team, Osvaldo Viscarrondo, shared his thoughts after the match against the Uzbekistan national team within the FIFA Series tournament. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Although the seasonal match ended in a draw in regular time, the Uzbekistan team won 5-4 in the penalty shootout. The coach emphasized that the game was very interesting and entertaining in terms of content and did not hide his satisfaction with his team's overall performance.

According to him, today's match was played in an intense and dynamic manner. Both sides fought seriously for the victory.

The Venezuela national team created several dangerous situations and tried to convert them into goals, but in some cases luck was not on their side. The coach paid special attention to the penalty shootout and said that the team still needs to work on this aspect.

In his opinion, mental stability and accuracy are the most important factors in such decisive situations. Speaking about the Uzbekistan national team, Viscarrondo highly appreciated the opponent.

He recognized our national team as a strong and competitive squad that secured a spot in the World Cup. The coach noted that there are many talented players in Uzbekistan's lineup and expressed positive views about head coach Fabio Cannavaro’s contribution to discovering new names in the team and helping their development.

At the same time, the Venezuelan expert also shared his thoughts on Uzbekistan’s chances in the World Cup. According to him, our team has the potential to compete well against strong opponents.

For example, the Colombian team is considered a very strong opponent capable of maintaining balance in both defense and attack. However, Uzbekistan can also provide serious competition against them.

The main factor for this is physical fitness, as playing three matches in a short period is not easy for everyone. In conclusion, it can be said that this match was beneficial for both teams not only in terms of results but also experience.

Especially for the Uzbekistan national team, such tests are of great importance before the World Cup. Source: One.uz
