DR Congo qualified for the World Championship

The Democratic Republic of Congo has secured a spot in the 2026 World Cup. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In the intercontinental playoff match, they managed to defeat the Jamaica team. This decisive match took place in Mexico, with both teams fiercely competing for a place in the World Cup.
No goals were scored during regular time, and the game extended into extra time. In the 101st minute, Axel Tuanzebe scored the only goal, securing the victory for the Congo DR team.
This goal led the team to a 1-0 win and eliminated Jamaica from the tournament. With this success, the Democratic Republic of Congo advanced to the group stage of the World Cup.
They will compete in their group against the national teams of Uzbekistan, Portugal, and Colombia. Football fans in Uzbekistan are now eagerly awaiting the match against the newly qualified African team.
