Javohir Sindarov won against the Indian chess player in Cyprus

Javohir Sindarov, representing Uzbekistan, won the game against Indian chess player Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa playing with the black pieces. In the early stages of the game, both players played cautiously and there was little chance for mistakes.

However, Javohir managed to take advantage of two serious mistakes by the Indian grandmaster, gained full control over the board until the additional time ended, and forced his opponent to resign prematurely. With this victory, our compatriot was recognized as the best player of the day.

Also, Javohir continued to show a high level of play with the black pieces, further strengthening this tradition. Now, the clash between Fabiano, one of the main favorites of the tournament, and Javohir will take place in the fourth round.
