Uzbekistani boxers are competing at the Asian Championship

Currently, the Asian Boxing Championship for adults is being held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Several athletes from the Uzbekistan national team are participating in this prestigious competition, proudly representing our country. This was reported by the Uzbekistan Boxing Federation.
In today's bouts, two of our compatriots entered the ring, and their fights attracted great attention from fans. Asilbek Jalilov, competing in the 50-kilogram weight category, faced the Japanese opponent Daichi Iwai in the match.
The fight was very intense and uncompromising. The Japanese boxer used all his abilities and showed strong resistance.
Although Jalilov also fought actively, he could not secure the match result in his favor and lost 1:4, forcing him to exit the competition. In the 60-kilogram weight category, Abdurahmon Mahmudjonov began his participation.
He stepped into the ring against the Chinese boxer Xinlin Cheng in his first fight. Our young and promising boxer stood out with precise, quick, and effective punches throughout the fight.
He completely dominated his opponent and confidently won with a score of 5:0. Thus, while one of our athletes left the competition early, the other started with a victory, creating good opportunities for the next stages.
Fans are now looking forward to even more victories in the upcoming fights. Source: Uzbekistan Boxing Federation.
