Islombek Ismoilov explained the reasons for the defeat in the match against Pakhtakor
The match between Neftchi and Pakhtakor, which took place as part of the sixth round of the Super League, ended unsuccessfully for the Fergana team. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
At the press conference organized after the match, Neftchi head coach Islombek Ismoilov spoke in detail about the reasons for the defeat and the team's future plans. The coach first apologized to the Fergana fans for the result.
He noted that although the team gave its all on the field, the final result was not as expected. Congratulating the opposing team on their victory, Ismoilov emphasized that in football, sometimes one small situation can decide the fate of the entire game.
The coach stated that the team would re-analyze the game and draw the right conclusions from the mistakes made. According to him, there is no team without defeats, and now all attention is focused on the upcoming matches.
According to the One.uz website, when answering questions about strengthening the squad, Ismoilov noted that player transfers are under the authority of the club's management and that he does not have specific information on this matter. Regarding tactical changes, the coach explained that the team tried to play an attacking game based on a secondary plan, but they were unable to take advantage of the opportunities created.
The substitution of Jamshid Iskanderov was also related to a tactical necessity, namely the desire to maintain balance in the central zone and strengthen the attacking line. Also, the absence of Ikrom Aliboyev from the squad was explained by an injury he sustained before the match.
It was reported that there are currently no other injured players in the team and all footballers are healthy. In the next round, the Neftchi team will take the field to correct their mistakes and record a positive result.
The coach emphasized that restoring the team's morale and making the fans happy in the upcoming matches is the main task.
