Pep Guardiola may leave Manchester City at the end of the season

We are on the verge of major changes in the heart of European football. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Questions regarding the future of Pep Guardiola, who has led the Manchester City team to the heights for many years, have returned to the agenda. According to information from the One.uz website, the expected structural changes at the club and the position of our team's representative are not leaving fans indifferent.

Although Guardiola's current contract is set until 2027, reports in the English press are increasing that the specialist may leave the club at the end of the season. In his interviews, Pep does not want to speak openly about questions regarding his future.

Experts believe that if the team finishes the current season with a victory, it will be a convenient opportunity for the Spanish coach to say goodbye at the very peak. The club's management has already begun the search for a new coach.

At the top of the list of candidates is Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso. His unbeaten run in the German championship and his unique tactical views are very close to the philosophy of Manchester City.

The list also includes names such as Enzo Maresca, Cesc Fabregas, and Roberto De Zerbi, but Alonso is currently considered the main contender. The process of renewing the team is active not only in the coaching staff but also on the pitch.

Our compatriot Abdukodir Khusanov, who joined the squad from Lens in January 2025, has quickly become a reliable representative of the defensive line. The Uzbek defender's consistent play in the rejuvenating team is an important foundation for Manchester City's future success.

Khusanov is currently recognized as a key first-team player. At the moment, the team is taking bold steps toward an internal treble.

Having already won the Carabao Cup, the Citizens face responsible matches such as the FA Cup semi-final. A successful end to the season could be an ideal scenario for Guardiola's departure and the beginning of a new era.

These changes are sparking great interest among football fans. How the team will change with the arrival of Xabi Alonso and whether Abdukodir Khusanov will be able to further solidify his position under the new coach, we will find out in the near future.
