A meeting of the disciplinary committee of the Uzbekistan Professional Football League was held

On April 10 of this year, a regular meeting of the Disciplinary Committee under the Uzbekistan Professional Football League was held. Zamin.uz reported on this.
During the meeting, violations recorded in matches within the framework of the country's football, specifically the Super League and the youth championship, were discussed in detail. The main purpose of the meeting was to ensure discipline both on and off the field and to provide a legal assessment of the conflict situations that arose.
The primary issue that attracted public attention was the unpleasant incident that occurred after the match between Bunyodkor and Lokomotiv during the fifth round of the Super League. After the game ended, a disagreement broke out between representatives of the two teams, which quickly escalated into a serious conflict.
A special investigation was conducted regarding this situation by the Football Activity Control Inspection of the Uzbekistan Football Association. During the investigation, video recordings, witness testimonies, and reports from the match commissioner were thoroughly analyzed.
It was revealed that as a result of rough actions occurring in the 62nd minute of the game, tensions between the players intensified, eventually leading to a fight. National Guard officers arrived at the scene and succeeded in defusing the situation.
Although the parties later stated they had no claims against each other, the Disciplinary Committee decided to take strict measures for actions contrary to football rules. According to Championat.asia, based on the committee's decision, fines were imposed on Bunyodkor and Lokomotiv clubs.
Additionally, a fine was imposed on Bek Abdullayev, the scouting coach of Bunyodkor, who participated in the conflict. Players Narimon Ahmadjonov and Abdulloh Yuldashev were disqualified for three matches for violating disciplinary rules.
The league management emphasized that appropriate conclusions must be drawn from this incident. Respect and the rules of sportsmanship and ethics must always prevail on the football field.
Such disruptive behavior negatively affects not only the level of the game but also the reputation of Uzbek football. In the future, to prevent such conflicts, clubs are required to strengthen explanatory work among their players and staff.
Disciplinary rules are equal for everyone, and failure to comply with them will inevitably lead to serious consequences.
