Hamzat Chimaev spoke about his relationship with Khabib Nurmagomedov

Hamzat Chimaev, the current middleweight champion of the UFC, spoke openly about his relationship with MMA legend Khabib Nurmagomedov. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The athlete put an end to widespread misconceptions, emphasizing that there are no conflicts or disagreements between them. Chimaev considers Khabib Nurmagomedov one of the greatest and strongest fighters in sports history.
He stated that he grew up admiring Khabib's achievements and wrestling style since childhood and continues to hold deep respect for him today. The athlete noted that he has always been inspired by Khabib and views him as a role model.
Reports had spread widely on social media suggesting misunderstandings between the two fighters. However, Hamzat stated that all of this is groundless and that the situation in real life is completely different.
He emphasized that he sees Khabib not only as a colleague but as a close person and a fellow believer brother. Additionally, Chimaev pointed out that both grew up in humble conditions and understand each other well.
He described his relationship with Khabib as one of Islamic brotherhood and sibling-like bonds. The athlete noted that because they both came from poor villages and reached great heights, their level of mutual understanding is very high.
