Al-Nassr thrash Al-Wasl with a big scoreline

As part of the quarterfinal round of the AFC Champions League Two competition, the first leg between Al-Wasl and Al-Nassr took place. The match was held at the home ground of Al-Wasl, yet the game did not unfold as the hosts had hoped. Saudi Arabia representatives Al-Nassr dominated the match throughout and defeated their rivals with a big scoreline of 4-0.
From the very start of the match the visitors acted in an attacking manner. In the 11th minute, Cristiano Ronaldo used an accurate pass from Nawaf Al-Boushal to open the scoring. After that, Al-Nassr increased the pressure even more. In the 24th minute, Inigo Martinez, assisted by Joao Felix, fired the ball into the net and doubled the lead. Only two minutes later, in the 26th minute, Abdulelah Al-Amri scored another goal, again assisted by Joao Felix.
In the second half, Al-Nassr maintained full control of the match. In the 80th minute, Sadio Mane brought the score to 4-0, completing his club confident victory. With this result, Al-Nassr has created excellent prospects for reaching the semifinals.
One particularly notable aspect is that Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 969th career goal in this match, adding yet another historic milestone to his record.
