Young Uzbek Boxers to Participate in International Tournament in Minsk

A prestigious international boxing tournament will be held in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, from April 22 to 27 this year. Dedicated to the memory of Vladimir Botvinnik, Honored Coach of the Republic of Belarus, the competition will feature young athletes born in 2010 and 2011.
Along with talented boxers from numerous countries, the Uzbekistan national team will participate with a full squad in the week-long event. According to the Uzbekistan Boxing Federation, the young boxers representing the country are recognized among the strongest in their respective weight categories.
In the boys' division, athletes such as Abdulloh Ziyavitdinov, Mustafo Tursunboyev, Ilyos Zarifboyev, Islombek Furqatov, and Ogabek Otamurodov will take to the ring. Additionally, Hojiakbar Mirzamahmudov, Ulugbek Soliyev, Abdurahmon Murtazayev, Muhammadsodiq Muqimov, and Amirkhon Salokhiddinov will fight for gold medals.
In the girls' competition, Rayhona Alimkhanova, Nafisa Bosimova, and Sabina Mirzayeva will strive to uphold the country's honor. The young athletes will be guided by experienced coaches Muminjon Ahmedov, Aliyor Noraliyev, and Nodirjon Irgashev.
Furthermore, Jahongir Soliyev from Uzbekistan will serve as a member of the judging panel. This international tournament in Minsk serves not only as an arena for gaining experience but also as a significant step into the world of elite sports.
