Vinícius Júnior to Sign New Contract with Real Madrid

Talented Brazilian forward Vinícius Júnior will continue to represent Real Madrid in the coming years. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to information released by Sky, following lengthy negotiations, the parties have reached a mutual agreement on a new long-term contract. Currently, the final details and technical aspects of the deal are being finalized, according to Goal.com.
Vinícius's current contract was set to expire in 2027. Although the player expressed his intention to sign a new deal a year ago, the process took longer than expected.
Consequently, various speculations emerged in sports media regarding the Brazilian star's potential move to Saudi Arabian clubs. It appears that the club management was initially unwilling to fully meet the forward's high salary demands, leading to a temporary halt in negotiations.
The situation was further complicated by misunderstandings with the team's former coach. Specifically, during a match against Barcelona, Vinícius openly displayed his dissatisfaction after being substituted.
However, following changes in the coaching staff in January of this year, the player began to feel more valued within the team. This change served as a crucial factor in his decision to agree to the new contract.
Under the terms of the new agreement, Kylian Mbappé will retain his status as the team's highest-paid player. Vinícius dropped his ambition to have the highest salary at the club, prioritizing team interests and agreeing to earn less than Mbappé.
Although it has not been officially announced who will lead the team next season, several prestigious specialists are being mentioned among the candidates. Vinícius Júnior moved to Madrid from the Brazilian club Flamengo in 2018.
During this period, he has appeared in 370 matches for Real Madrid, scoring 124 goals. The Brazilian forward has become an integral part of the squad, winning the UEFA Champions League twice and the Spanish league title three times with the Madrid club.
