Vincent Kompany Undecided on the Roles of Two Defenders

Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompany has announced that he is still undecided regarding the exact positions of defenders Konrad Laimer and Josip Stanisic on the field. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This season, both players have stood out with their consistent performances, providing significant value to the team in both defense and attack. The 28-year-old Laimer has recorded a total of 13 goals and assists across all competitions, while 26-year-old Stanisic has managed 10 goal involvements.
Goal reports on the matter. Kompany noted that he discusses the placement of these two players on the flanks in detail with his coaching staff every week.
During the first half of the season, Laimer primarily operated on the right wing, while Stanisic played on the left. However, recently, especially in crucial matches against Real Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen, the coach decided to swap their positions.
According to Kompany, both defenders possess the ability to play with equal reliability and at a high level on either flank. At the same time, competition for the team's left-back position is expected to intensify.
Alphonso Davies, who has fully recovered from a serious injury, is determined to fight for a place in the starting lineup. The 25-year-old Canadian international has been working on regaining his peak form since April.
In recent matches, he has come off the bench and managed to catch the coaches' attention again with his active play and pace. The coaching staff will now have even more options when selecting the lineup.
