European Giants Interested in Young Serbian Talent Vasilije Kostov

A new and bright talent is emerging in the world of Serbian football. According to Zamin.uz, Vasilije Kostov, a product of the Crvena Zvezda (Red Star Belgrade) academy, has already caught the attention of Europe's most prestigious clubs with his prolific performances.
Despite being only seventeen years old, the attacking midfielder made his senior debut this season, recording a total of twenty-one goals and assists. His on-field talent and ability to read the game have naturally drawn interest from giants such as Arsenal, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich, as reported by Goal.com.
Born in Belgrade in May 2008, Kostov has been part of the Crvena Zvezda system since the age of seven. At just fifteen, he caught the eye of experts by being directly involved in twenty goals while playing against opponents two years his senior.
His goals in the fierce derbies against Partizan made him a true fan favorite. In April 2025, he played his first official match in the Serbian SuperLiga.
Currently developing under the guidance of legendary player Dejan Stankovic, Kostov continues to refine his skills. He primarily operates as a number ten, and his movements, ball control, and unpredictable decision-making are reminiscent of the famous footballer Isco.
The young talent managed to score six goals in six matches between February and March, establishing himself as one of the team's key leaders. Former head coach Vladan Milojevic specifically praised the young player's discipline and work ethic.
He noted that Kostov stands out for his precise execution of coaching instructions and tireless self-improvement. Although the player still needs to gain experience in defensive actions, his superior technique and wide vision suggest he will become a world-class star in the future.
Experts predict he will move to one of Europe's 'Big Five' leagues within the coming years.
