Navbakhor Khamidova Secures a Spot in the World Cup Semi-Finals

Uzbek masters of the leather glove continue to showcase their skills on international arenas, as reported by Zamin.uz. In the prestigious Boxing World Cup currently underway, representatives of our country have successfully completed the quarter-final stage, securing further victories.
Despite the intense nature of the competition, our compatriots are proving their high physical and mental preparation in practice. Specifically, in the women's competition, Navbakhor Khamidova, representing our country in the 65 kg weight category, faced the host athlete Beatriz Gomes in the quarter-finals.
Taking the initiative from the opening minutes of the fight, Khamidova responded to her opponent's moves with precise and powerful strikes. Maintaining complete dominance throughout the match, our boxer won by a unanimous decision of 5:0, securing her place in the semi-finals.
Additionally, Jakhongir Zokirov, competing in the heavyweight category, delivered an extremely confident performance in his latest bout. In a hard-fought match against Bulgaria's Yordan Morejon, Zokirov demonstrated his technical superiority.
Being active in every round, our athlete left almost no chance for his opponent. According to the final result, the judges unanimously recognized our compatriot's victory.
